I was hit by a driver that did not have enough insurance to cover my wheelchair repair and doctor and hospital bills. I have had Allstate Insurance for many years and what is called "under insured motorest coverage". I sent a claim to Allstate your in good??? hands, and was told that the bills were not from this accident. All the bills dated the day of the accident from hospital and doctors. My wheelchair, yes that's right, I was in my wheelchair when hit, were from the accident. I was told that they would not cover any of it.
I asked them what under insured motorest was about if not to cover bills unpaied by his insurance. NO ANSWER??? WOW are you in good hands ????? You better guess again. It's good for them to take your money but not give you anything for it nothing. Watch out!

If you have a legal registration for your wheelchair, then you should not have a problem getting the claim satisfied. Most insurance people don't know there are rules and laws allowing registered wheelchairs. I would contact your agent and have your agent get this claim processed. Now, if your wheelchair is not legally registered, then you really have no recourse.
Best of luck to you...
