I gotta tell ya'll, do NOT do business with ANY of the Beck Auto Stores in Palatka, Florida. Now understand, this is a tough thing to accomplish as the HTIC (Head Thief in Charge) Breck Sloan (*sp) owns every store in this town.
Chevy, Ford, Nissan...yeah, that thief owns them all and claims he owns the sheriff. Hmmm. I have been lied to, led on, ripped off SO BADLY by these thieves and evil pieces of scum I am seriously considering suing them. I realized, finally, I'd been stupid enough to pay for multiple repairs- for the same darn issues - and I have had enough.
Just enough! Took me a long time as they preyed upon me having had health issues. No joke. Well, trick or treat, Beck. Repairs on my car? That I purchased brand new for 54K in 2006 have far exceeded the cost of my vehicle plus all the external work done to maintain its glory through the years. Come to find out yesterday - after my car just...STOPS. IT JUST STOPS. BAM, those creeps have not repaired my beautiful car as they assured me recently - by far the most expensive "work" ever done.
The car just STOPPING has happened on the interstate at 70 mph as well as here in Palatka. By the grace of God and inertia, I'm not dead because of this demonic crew of liars and thieves at Beck. Well, it happened YET again yesterday in heavy traffic ay 45 mph - but in Jacksonville.
The kindness of strangers kicked in, the car was pushed into another store, coincidentally located closeby. Long story short - the entire car was supposedly completely rewired after being vandalized. This of course does not match Becks invoices or records. Gee How surprising! But when the other store took a look and invited me to see for myself? Those wires were never replaced.
After that car being held hostage for a MONTH, the labor costs THROUGH THE ROOF, those wires were so very obviously the corroded, nasty original ones I just cried. Then, I got REALLY PISSED OFF. I now have one working headlight, as that wonderful store got my vehicle running. Feeling exactly like a pirate, as does my beautiful and well loved car, I'm thinking pillaging and plundering chances are running high.
Stay away from any Beck Automotive store. Go to Jacksonville, Daytona, Orange Park - anywhere but to a Beck Dealership in Palatka, Florida. Oh! Last but not least - these lying, thieving, cruel, vicious, back-stabbingly crude bastards have been ripping me off since 2012. It is 2019. I'm finished, and have SUCKER in neon green written across my forehead.
Should anyone have advice as to QUICK REMOVAL OF SAID NEON GREEN SUCKER, and more to the point, an appropriate and courageous attorney, please contact me immediately. I'm VIGOROUSLY scrubbing my forehead. Thanks for reading. BECK SUCKS!

In recent years, the fraud and deception which is rampant in the sales end of a dealership has now made its way into the shop in exactly the same way raw sewage flows on a down hill street. If you are getting non-warranty work down, when you go to a dealer, you open yourself up to PRICE GOUGING, poor customer service, incompetent parts changers who claim to be mechanics and more PRICE GOUGING.
You've experienced all of these, correct? Find yourself a good independent shop with REAL MECHANICS! Car dealers are the favorite place for felons, ex-cons and other undesirables to get a job because the dealership slime have no problems hiring them!
REMEMBER...you don't need to go to any dealer for non-warranty work. Find and patronize a good independent shop! Going to a dealer shop opens the door to PRICE GOUGING and all the other garbage outlined above!

This is a link to 2 other important complaints containing information on Breck Sloan and his band of thieves in the very small city of Palatka, Florida. Finding information relative to lawsuits and information regarding this horrible monopoly of what we need most in Palatka, Florida - a vehicle- requires dogged determination and computer savvy.
Thank God I have both. Please see Beck Chevrolet, report #440982 and the obvious link to UPDATE-EX-employee responds:sounds like you got THE BRECK SLOAN SPECIAL. This site is a marvelous and important venue for those who have been taken advantage of all over the world - and especially here in Palatka, Florida.
I wish this site were easier to navigate - my mother tried to check the reports here and quickly gave up. Beck Automotive is unique - this thief has all the proverbial eggs in his very small basket. Every single dealership, every single new car is ultimately sold by one person - Breck Sloan, owner of Beck Chevrolet, Beck Ford, Beck Chrysler Plymouth Jeep, Beck Nissan...mindboggling when the sheer magnitude of this debacle is revealed.
We are such a small city; there is no cab company or public transportation. We MUST have our own vehicles here. Most folks work outside the city in Jacksonville, Orange Park or Gainesville, as there are so few jobs. Bottom line? Palatka, Florida in Putnam County is a beautiful city plagued by corrupt politicians tied to corrupt business owners, all having their claws around all our collective necks. This is a dangerous statement for me to make.
I am therefore making this post as public notice of fear for my safety. These wretched bastards at Beck know I am very unhappy, having "busted" their incredible audacious thievery as far as their "work" on my vehicle is concerned, and as this is such a small town, it wouldn't be difficult to put 2 and 2 together.
Please see my recent report #1476802 for my Beck experience. I am not the only person who has been hit hard by Breck Sloan and his cronies. People here are frightened of him and retaliation. His claws reach throughout our city system as public records bear out. BECKSUCKS
