Complaint Review: Dr. Katherine Fonte - Sarasota Florida

Teachers in Sarasota County (as of the start of the 2022-2023 school year) were paid a base rate of $50,000 a year. Because Kathy Adcock Fonte has a Doctorate, Kathy Adcock Fonte would have received a supplement of $10,000 to her pay. This would mean that Kathy Adcock Fonte’s base rate of pay, without taking her so-called experience into account, would have been $60,000. According to the salaries for Sarasota County teachers, which is all a matter of public record, Kathy Adcock Fonte was only making, as of the start of the 2022-2023 school year, a bit over $63,000. If Kathy Adcock Fonte really had years of experience in education and had been a much loved principal in Louisiana for over 10 years, taking this experience into account, and adding it to her base pay of $60,000, Kath Adcock Fonte would be making more than $63,000 a year with Sarasota County Schools. Bottom line…Kathy Adcock Fonte is a liar and a piece of crap. Kathy Fonte was a single mother who met and married a man named Rene Fonte and then moved from Louisiana to Sarasota, Florida. I am guessing that the then Kathy Adcock met and was messing around with her now husband, who was married to someone else at the time. Then Kathy Fonte’s now husband left his previous spouse and the two moved to Sarasota, Florida for a fresh start. The world need leaders like Kathy Fonte? Kathy Adcock Fonte is a slutty piece of s*** who couldn’t lead her way out of a paper bag.

  Dr. Fonte was a respected principal in Louisiana? Where? What district? I would love to know as the Dr. Fonte I met lacks any sense of professionalism and was seen/overheard talking about fellow teachers in front of others. Dr. Fonte is some kind of community leader? Dr. Fonte has only been in Sarasota for a few years. If Dr. Fonte is so great why isn’t she a principal in the area, instead of a teacher last year and a department head this year? It would seem to me that going from a principal for what Fonte claimed was about 10 years in Louisiana, then moving all the way to Sarasota, Florida just to be a classroom teacher would be a step down. Most people move for a better job, increased responsibility. People do not move to go down and make less money. If Dr. Fonte and her buddy DeAnn Arnold think that a Louisiana is so great, and they were so successful there, then why did Arnold and Fonte (formerly Adcock) move to Florida? Florida could have done with a wannabe, self-important person like Kathy Adcock Fonte. Working hard and getting her doctorate/dissertation at the same time? Kathy Adcock got a doctorate in organizational leadership from a mainly online institution., not exactly rocket science. The degree did not help as Kath Fonte knows nothing about leadership. As as far as comments on suspicious websites like Rip-Off Report made in the rebuttal about Fonte above, Rip Off Report has been around since 1998, longer than Kathy Adcock Fonte has been a pseudo teacher. And I wasn’t commenting on your gender, per the comment about male counterparts above. I was commenting on the lack of class and professionalism on the part of Kathy Fonte who has none. It doesn’t matter if you are a woman or a woman, a bad person who does not know what they are doing is just a bad person, plain and simple.

For several years Dr. Fonte was in fact an admired principal of a school in Louisiana, and graduated from a public institation after working diligently to complete her doctoral degree/dissertation.

While empathic and listening to the needs of others, Dr. Fonte is a strong leader - qualities that women are so often called out for in contradiction to their male counterparts. 

A public-servant for years, it is women like Dr. Fonte who deserve boundless appreciation and respect (and not superficial, false claims being made against them on suspicious websites).
