ecogolf.club ATTN REALTORS....GOLF COURSE Real Estate Adversting Scam Miami Florida
I am a Realtor in Miami and was solicited by phone from a young lady named Maddie, selling me an ad on a scorecard for the golf course near me in Miami Beach, she said she represented. We spoke in length and she sounded very knowlwedgeable and professional, she said that they have been doing this for years with much success, she was very convincing and told me that I would be exclusive and replacing a woman who had done it for years, and did very well until she retired, so I signed up.
I paid $299 for 2 years, sounded like a great deal, right? It was for a business card size ad that will go on all scorecards, physical and electronic. They wanted payment through Cash App, which I found a bit weird but I do use it for other things so I didn't think twice.
I recieved an invoice which looked legit on May 5, 2021. I finally recieved a proof on May 25, 2021. I asked for some changes and never heard back. I reached out multiple times via phone calls to Maddie, the Rep and emails to the Admin email and the graphic email I had, nothing! It is now July 9th, 2021 and now, I am trying to find a way to get my money back.
DO NOT be FOOLED by this SCAM! Do your homework and background check on these advertising people before giving up your hard earned money! Unfortunately, we live in a world of scam artists!
