Is anyone else tired of medical services that bill too much for too little and then provide confusing and incomplete documentation, all in the hope that we will break down and pay the excessive bills just to be rid of the hassle?
I visited a medical office for less than 5 minutes. I paid at the front desk. Months later, the out-of-state billing office for Forefront Dermatology, a franchise operation, continues to attempt to bilk me for just a little more. If you ask at the front desk what a procedure costs, they cannot tell you. But months later they will bill you for more in a format you cannot understand, just hoping you pay up.
Why do we allow the medical industry to operate like this?
