We purchased the extended warranty and had to submit a claim a year later for an accidental blood stain. It got denied for "accumulation" in another area of the chair.
They told us they could not provide services because there were two conditions with the chair, and one (the accumulation) is not covered. [Accumulation is the catch-all term for discoloration due to oils, non-physical wear, dirt, etc.] They said we could get the accumulation cleaned and resubmit the claim. We did so with new pictures. We heard nothing back and so I had to call them.
They said, "oh I see it was denied. We can't cover it for accumulation." I re-explained myself 3 times. Now they're giving us the runaround and asking for receipts of the cleaning service, new pictures (which we already sent), and more information. The email said if this is not received in 5 business days the claim will be denied.
I'm willing to bet they're going to lie and say they never received the information we sent.
This company is so sketchy, and I have no idea why Ashley furniture would do business with them. It's a disgrace. I would give 0 stars if I could.
