Hendricks Motorsports Florida Performance Machine, Buddy Hendricks Motorsports LLC Engine rebuild Sanford Florida
Buddy Hendricks is a con-man / scum bag mechanic. His business model is to give a reasonable quote, dismantle your car, claim "unforeseen problems", and literally charge you 4 - 5 times the original amount! He's done this countless times and has quite the reputation around central FL. He doesn't expect you to pay. He expects you to just forfeit your car and walk away so he can strip and/or sell it. If you do pay, which I made the mistake of doing, IT WONT EVEN RUN!!! I had to have my engine completely rebuilt by another machine shop once I finally got my car back!
Additionally he stripped the original #'s correct alternator (selling for 1k+ on ebay) and replaced it with a cheap china repo.
Ive met numerous people that have had similar run-ins with him. His shop used to be called Florida Performance Machine (do a search including 'hendricks', see what comes up) but he had to change it to Hendricks Motorsports (of course stolen from a similarly named reputable company located up in NC with ZERO affiliation).
Total piece of garbage that give honest engine builders a bad name.
