Beware deceptive practices with housejet.
When I signed up for their leads service, the head guy at the company took over the salesguy's phone to close me on their service. He said, "We have a worst agent gurantee" where if you do not close any deals with their "leads" you are refunded your deposit, we shake hands and walk away. Fair enough, I ponied up bout $1,500.00 on my credit card.
1 year later, not eligable for my refund. They have a review board that combs through looking for any reason not to refund your money. Mine, was for inactivity. When I signed up, nobody told me how many phone calls or emails must be made or the scale of "activity" required to get your deposit back. I told them I had to go back East last Fall to help an elderly parent care for my bro with special needs who ended up passing 12/31. Wasn't glued to housejet at that time chasing ghosts, sorry.
I live and work by a code of ethics as a Realtor. This was highly unethical and nowhere was it disclosed to me upon signing up with housejet. Very deceptive business model. I will be contacting as many consumer advocacy groups available to me spreading my terrible experience with #housejet.
