J. CAID Custom Builders Daniel Perez, Jr. a/k/a Jay Perez Destroyed my House based on their negligence Houston Tx

On or about February 24, 2020, I got Daniel Perez, a/k/a Jay Perez, owner of J CAID Custom Builders to put a roof on my house. A few days later and based on Jay’s negligence and poor workmanship, I got a flood in the house. It was literally raining inside my house. Jay stated he would get my house back in order at 100 as his usual saying goes.
After 2 ½ weeks, with wet insulation still sitting in attic, wet sheetrock & paneling remaining on walls, Jay’s people coming in at 11:00 am – taking a 1 ½ lunch break – working until 3:30 or 4:00 pm and then leaving; and other days coming in at 1:00 pm and leaving at 4:30 pm, and all this time Jay saying “I got you 100 – don’t worry about nothing, I am going to have your house looking new.” I kept telling Jay, remove the wet insulation and paneling, his response, mold does not occur till about 30 or more days later we have plenty of time.
After 2 weeks of hearing the same BS, like a broken record of “I got you 100.” Jay had to go. There are 3 different color of shingles on my house. ON or about March 9, 2020, shingles started flying off my roof. Not one or two but several. Look at the pictures here. Look at the holes on the shingles. Use Jay at your own risk but he claims to have insurance and be bonded. It’s a scam and a blatant lie.
If he gives you anything that looks real, confirm it and make sure it’s a real insurance company. Jay posts on FB and states that but don’t believe it. I had to file with my homeowners insurance and subsequently being cancelled based on the loss incurred that Jay caused. Jay admitted to the adjuster that he had been negligent in the installation of the roof.
THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE – NOT ATTEMPTING TO SLANDER OR DEFAME ANYONE – JUST LOOK AT THE DESTRUCTION THAT J CAID DID AND WALKED AWAY.
