*** HOTEL STAFF ROBBED CASH FROM OUR ROOMS ***
My family stayed at this hotel in May 2019. While we were away, the hotel staff robbed three of our rooms. We had hidden cash in USD and Euros in our suitcase and while sightseeing we were robbed by the staff.
When we alerted the staff they mocked and insulted us. They told us it was "impossible" that the hotel has an "impeccable" reputation and essentially called us a group of liars.
Do not stay at this shady, disgusting hotel. They all seem to be involved in a theft ring and will not help you one bit.
The manager Taoufik Ghaffouli is completely gutless, has no control over his staff.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!

Hiding money in your suitcases it not wise at all. Putting them in a safe or carry money on your person is the only way you can guarantee these types of situations. You were in a foreign country therefore you a liable for not securing your property safely.
