We take full responsibility for allowing this poor workmanship to take place. We assumed we were hiring professionals.   The work should have ceased when,

1. we saw that there was no tile saw

2. there was no  compliance with our stated preferences

3. the reality that we needed to watch every move  made by these supposed professions that you sent to us.   We made an assumption that was based on a trust that your crew would do a quality job. We  were wrong.

From the beginning, we wanted a roll in shower floor with a frameless sliding glass shower door.  Since a large grout space was left between the shower floor and the bathroom floor tile, this  was not possible. Since the pivoting door we will need to install will overlap with the current entry door, its location must be changed.

When asked why there was such a gap, we were told that the shower tile had to start at the back of the shower. I see this as poor planning since there were no limitations on the depth of the shower walls. With proper planning, the shower walls could have been shorted by one-half inch so that the two tiles would have met.

We were very disappointed in the quality of workmanship. In addition to the above, the  following are more issues with this project.

1.  Grout did not cover the red edges of our light-colored tile in many places. The owner said     this is acceptable.

2.  Numerous variations in grout color.

3.  A chipped tile was installed on the bathroom floor and the chip was disguised with paint.

4.  Cut edge of tile around the niche has multiple surface ships on the cut line. Why was a tile saw not used?

5.  Bullnose grout lines do not match tile grout lines when they easily could have matched. We did discuss that this might happen, but it was to be further discussed again before the installation of the bullnose. This did not happen.

6.  Bullnose 45-degree cuts not accurate leaving an uneven space between the tile.

7.  Chip in one bullnose at the 45-degree cut.

8.  Top edge of bullnose was not fully grouted all the way to the top edge, leaving space between the tile.

9.  Standing water next to floor drain.

10. We were not consulted about the floor drain, and if we had been consulted, we definitely would not have chosen the type installed.   It was implied that we are liars since our version of events did not match the installer’s and “he never lies” according to Bobby. Therefore, we must be the ones lying.

I am currently serving my third consecutive term as the Chairperson of our church, which is  not normal procedure. This is so I can continue to oversee the completion of our $2,200,000 plus building project. I am told that this was because of my integrity, honest and leadership. There seems to be a difference of opinion here.

Considering the number and types of concerns, we cannot believe that we are the only ones  that have issues and complaints about this company and the installers that were sent to do the work. All who have seen the workmanship agree with us that it is unacceptable.   This company was highly recommended to use, therefore, we had high expectations. Unfortunately we are extremely disappointed.
