They are still charging me for services!

I strongly advise against doing business with Pioneer Security or Mr. Howard Feldman. My experience with this company over nearly 5 years has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional.

  1. Unclear Contract Terms: I was not informed that I was signing a 5-year contract when I agreed to their services. I was told that the installation cost was $295, and the monthly fee would be $55, but there was no transparency about being locked into a long-term commitment.

  2. Outdated Equipment: The security system they installed is archaic and not up to modern standards. For the price, I expected much better.

  3. Charging for Services I Did Not Receive: I moved out of my business location in July 2024 and informed Pioneer Security, yet they continue to charge me for services I’m no longer receiving. Despite this, Mr. Feldman insists on holding me to the contract.

  4. Hostile Behavior: When I expressed my dissatisfaction and left a negative review, Mr. Feldman showed up unannounced at my office, harassing me and my staff, and threatening to remove equipment. This escalated to the point where I had to call the sheriff for protection.

  5. Legal Intimidation: After writing an honest review of my experience, I was threatened with legal action by their attorney unless I removed the review. This is not how a reputable business should handle customer feedback.

If you are considering a security service, I urge you to look elsewhere. The equipment is outdated, the contracts are misleading, and the company’s aggressive, bullying tactics are something no one should have to deal with.

It sounds like your entire complaint can be summed up as "I didn't bother reading the contract and now I'm unhappy with the terms I agreed to".  Well, that's literally the point of a signature on a contract.  By signing on the dotted line, you indicate that you read the contract, understood it, and agree to its terms.  I suspect there is no issue with terminating it early, as long as you pay the remaining balance due on the agreement.  You seem to think that just because you moved out of the space that this somehow voids your obligations.  I have not seen the contract, but I would guess that this is not the case.  And if you are going around slandering their business because you don't want to pay the balance owed, then they are well within their rights to pursue legal action against you, both to collect the money owed and any damages for libel.
