I purchased a car battery with a 3yr warranty 2plus years ago and the battery went bad so I took it in for the warranty replacement this morning. They said that they needed to run some test which is OK. Two hours later, they confirmed that it was bad and that they would replace it but when I went to the register with the person that ran all the tests they refused to give me the replacement. They said that the battery was three months prior to the warranty expiring. I was totally confused with that answer and very angry as well. I'm a senior citizen that still works for a living and I just found out that I have to buy another battery because they say so having a "warranty" that is within its expiration date by three months. I took pictures of everything and am going to see how I can fight these abusive fraudulent scammers.

I think the clerk probably thought it's a 3 year prorated warranty, which is not the case. Try going to a different store.
