1-800 Flowers ripoff charged for delivery not made, they say no refund, they say they have signature of delivery, but it's not to the name and address of person sent to Carle Place New York
I placed an order with 1-800-flowers to replace an order that was never delivered by 180066roses for Mother's Day flowers. This delivery was also never delivered.
I contacted 1-800-flowers on 6-27-06 by email and asked for a refund because of non-delivery. They called my home to report that the flowers had in fact been delivered and that they had a signature on file as proof.
I then requested a copy of that signature and asked for the name of the local florist that was paid to deliver them so I could get the issue straightened out. I told them that my mother does not have any mental handicap and if she says she did not get any flowers, I believe her.
After that they called me again to say that they could not give me the name of florist but to give them 24 hours and they would send me a copy of the delivery confirmation. In the meantime, they contacted my mother and she told them herself that she did not get any flowers delivered.
I don't know who or where the flowers were delivered to, but they were not to my mother at her address, and I want my money refunded. I did get an email from 1-800-flowers saying that they were in the process of contacting their shop on 7-18-06.
I have heard nothing more from them nor have I gotten any refund from their company.
