Walmart makes it painstaking and difficult to price match as they advertise on TV. I started price matching this summer. First, I found that the cashiers aren't very adaptive or willing to doing it as it is shown on TV. I got "sighs", frowned faces, or a unique look when you begin to read off the prices and items to match.
Moreover, don't believe the story that you don't need the other stores's ads, yes you do as 1) your quizzed as though it's a test about the other store, the prices or if ad is a current ad, then you are asked to show ad or 2) cashier will leave checkout to check folder of current flier with an ad checker that's in another location while your left standing in line with others starring you down for holding up the line.
I find it less frustrating just to go to the individual stores to get the sales-no quizizing, loud sighs, frowns, or questionable looks.
