Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was trying to get an online payday loan, on June 3rd and I had previously had a good experience with another loan company, so I thought this would be the same kind of situation. Was I ever wrong. By inputting my checking account information a few different times, which We the potential customer should not have to do, somehow 1st Credit Now got my information and my "supposed" consent to draft $19.95 from my account. As best as I can tell, it must have been on one of those loan websites, that say "You must accept these terms to continue the loan process."

So they got my $19.95 for first month's payment on June 4th. At no point did they try to get in touch with me to "help rebuild my credit" as they said. I saw this charge on my account two weeks later, and called to cancel. They cancelled it and made it clear thatthe $19.95 was non-refundable, for whatever reason.

Two days after cancelling I realized that I had another charge, this one $29.95, from 1st Credt Now, about a week after the first charge. I had not noticed this charge when I called 2 days before! I called them once again, and they said it was the first month's payment, also nonrefundable. I told them I wanted that $29.95 back, that they had already taken money from me once and I wouldn't allow it again. The rude person, who was apparently used to these types of calls, hearing how standoffish she sounded, said that I had cancelled after that charge was made , so I was not entitled to a refund.

This is what I'm asking myself still:

Would a legitimate credit restoration company do business in this manner?

For what reason can they not give a refund?

i went online looking to take a payday loan because I was short on cash for bills. I did not have $49.90 to just give away to some phantom company for services I did not recieve, want, or ask for. Although the "service" was cancelled, I am having to watch my account very closely, to make sure that 1st Credit Now tries doing the same thing once again to me.

Any suggestions? Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get the money refunded?

Marie
