In response to Connie's complaint, her file with 1st Financial Group was processed in a timely and professional manner. She was not lied to nor is the number on our website no longer active. She did experience some difficulty reaching our customer service department due to high call volume, however she was contacted on numerous occasions regarding the status of her file and a full refund was issued prior to this report being filed. Furthermore she sent us the following e-mail: I want to offer my utmost gratitude to you for doing all that you did for us. We were in no position to lose this money and felt that we were stretching things too far to go ahead with a loan modification right now. I was loosing faith in human nature, especially at your company, but you have restored it for me! If I were you though, I would look into the matter of your company's customer service though, so this can be avoided happening to anyone else, as well as the time it took to process the return back into our account. Thanks again so much!!!!!!! Connie Snow 1st Financial Group has maintained a flawless record of customer satisfaction since it was founded. We refunded this client's money, apologized for the inconvenience, noted her concerns, and addressed them to the best of our ability.
