1st Midwest Mortgage Corporation ripoff refinanced mortgage they stole money they wont reissue expired check Dubuque Iowa
In early may 2004 i refinanced my mortgage with this company, i needed to pay off some high interest credit cards and my 20 year old son quit his job and i was being stuck for a car loan that i was fighting. To complete the process they sent checks made out to my crediters and i mailed them. But the one for my sons loan i was still fighting and didnt want to pay untill i lost. Meanwhile the check for 2100.00 dollars expired. I tore it up and contacted the company as to the need for a new check.
They acted like i was an idiot, they act like they dont understand where check came from, because someone else, other then them handles "that part of it" They give me numbers that no one answers and i have contacted them with many letters, I need this money , they are garnishing my checks, and this money is mine.
Wouldnt you think someone would of noticed that there account was 2000.00 more then it should. I have been warned about these companys, that they will be gone before you know it. they already sold my mortage to another company. I have sent them copies of all my papers, accounts, they obviously understand someone had to take it, duh, would you notice if and extra 2100.00 just showed up..
I am not a good person when it comes to standing up for my rights, just usually bawl, so what do i do , pay a lawyer for something that should be so simple, find my money, reissue my check the end
