I came across this site while looking up the phone number to 20/20 Eyeglass Superstore. I was trying to find their number so that I could contact them to schedule an appointment for myself.
I have to beg to differ with the person who reported this complaint as I know that not every place is perfect however 20/20 has been a God send to myself and family.
My daughter has been wearing glasses since the age of 7 and her ONE pair of glasses have always cost me no less than 350.00 with frame and polycarbonate lenses complete.
20/20 was the first place I have ever found to offer affordable prescriptive eyewear for my child or myself.
The store is clean, the staff is friendly and their doctor is wonderful.
I moved to Melbourne two years ago and because I have to take my child in each year for eye exams and glasses due to her optical issue I can honestly say that the experience has never been any thing more than positive.
The consumer whom filed this complaint is correct in the fact that the yellow dot frames are mixed in among the pricier frames so you do have to look through different styles but the selection for the affordable frames is extremely large and you DON'T have to find a pricier frame if you are trying to stick to a budget.
It is up to the consumer to stick to the basics if that is all they can afford. Of course the super cute frames and name brand styles are going to be more expensive. Just as any other item in life you purchase, if you want a Kia you will pay much less than you would for the Mercedes, no?
The most I have ever spent on my child's frames and lenses while dealing with 20/20 Eyeglass Superstore was 179.00. I bought one regular yellow tag frame and upgraded her main pair to a red tag which was 30.00 more. My daughter LOVES her glasses and I will continue to do my business with them.
There are two sides to every story and the bottom line is you can't please every one.
There are no refunds on their glasses, but the frames come with a one year warranty and if you purchase a scratch warranty on your lenses for 20.00 they are replaced for free two times during that year warranty no questions asked.
The no refund policy is posted clearly at the bottom of my receipt and when I had an issue with our first pair of glasses the staff took care of the issue promptly with no negative feedback at all.
No one makes you buy more expensive frames, you have the right to decline the services if you are not happy with them prior to making a commitment to the sale.
I honestly don't understand how people act like they are forced to purchase something they don't want. It just leads me to believe that it is buyers remorse due to poor budgeting.
Everything is printed clearly in their advertisements all you need to do is read it.
I surely wouldn't expect to get a 500.00 frame for the 149.00 price x2. Just use common sense.
Best wishes to all and I for one will continue to do my business with 20/20 Eyeglass Superstore.
