21st Century Legal Services Transition Corporation Of America 21st Century Legal Services/Transition Corp of America Stole 1,500 from us for Loan Modification. Rancho Cucamonga, California
21st century Legal Services aka Transition Corporation of America took $1500 from my family in April of 2009 for a loan modification on our mortgage. We also had a notary come to our home.
We made 3 monthy payments to this "company" with post dated checks and didn't make our mortgage payments to prove we had a hardship. This was all explained to us by a Michael Bates.
Then in June, 3 months later, I never heard from them I had to jump through hoops to het anyone to call me or even speak to me on the phone. I finally started speaking to a Yessica, who told me that my modification was almost complete.
We them recieved a call telling us that 21st Century has merged with Transitional Corporation of America and gave us a new number. I called and called finally a MONTH later I finally got through to a person.
They told me that I had to speak with my processor. I told them that Yessica was my processor and they said she no longer works here. We will take a message and get back to you.
In August we finally reached someone again and they told us we needed to make a mortgage payment because we were 4 months behind and they wanted us to only be 3 months behind.
In September I finally reached another processor named Tanisha who at the time was being trained by a Sherita. We had recieved a paper from our mortgage company saying that they needed some documents faxed w/in 10 days or this "modification was denied."
The problem was I had already done that in April! I tried calling Tanisha and I finally got her on the phone days later and she said that they would resubmit the modification to the lender.
I faxed everything to her on the 19th of September. She said to give her a couple weeks so the lender had tine to process the information. I never heard anything again.
I had tried callling and calling and calling..nothing. No one answered or lines were disconnected or busy. I realized that I had this cell number for Tanisha. So on October 29th I called it.
Spoke with Sherita. She informed me that 21st Century Legal Services aka Transitional C orporation of America was shut down by the F.B.I. on September 23.
There was nothing that she could do. I filed a grievence with the State Atty. General.
