24-Hour Fitness creepy ripoff Beaverton Oregon
I joined hoping that my daughter would start exercising, paid for personal training for her, plus first and last-month, etc. It was months before the trainer responded to her requests for the sessions we had paid for, and when he did get around to it, the effort was half-hearted, his attitude, both unhelpful and arrogant.
I went once and was put off by the whole place; it felt to me like a carnival sideshow of narcissism motivated mainly by a greedy, do-the-absolute-minimum management and staff.
After almost a year's membership---daughter is too busy with work and school to go and it turns me off---I went in today to drop my membership. The snotty girl at the desk told me they will charge me again the 15th of this month, and that my membership will not terminate until more than two months from this date. Outrageous.
I plan to get in touch with my credit card company and stop payment to the jerks.
