24 Hours Fitness put me through collection 2 month after membership cancelation San Francisco California
i joined this location and agreed to have the membership dues withdrawn form my checking.
i was supposed to pay my initiation fees myself separately in installments.
i used the club about 4 times within 3 month , i just used it for swimming and their pool chlorine content was so high, my skin was burning for days after using their pool.
i tried another location, but it was too far from work.
i also found the place filthy, showers had clumps of hair everywhere, i even found a used tampon on the floor...
the other thing i got disgusted by was the co-ed sauna where men would come in in full workout gear, tennis shoes and all, after a workout, all sweaty and stinky, to sweat more.
i complained twice and their manager had to tell these people to leave the sauna.
i then decided to cancel my membership, after paying 3 month, but my initiation fees were still due.
when calling to cancel, i was told that these fees would be canceled as well.
i did not hear anything for 2 month, and now, i am getting a letter from a collection agency to collect these fees.
24 hours fitness never warned me or sent me a bill telling me these fees were still due, why did it have to cone to this?
nothing in writing in their M.O, do not trust what they say, they lie!
