This company has many Aliases-- TranOne, TransCiti, Nationwide Transmission, Transmission Citi, 24 hour Transmission, Coast to coast & who knows how many more. They are running a nationwide transmission repair scam. After much internet searching & looking on several internet complaint sites I have found numerous complaints against these people-Larry Duncan & Andrea Duncan- for ripping off peoples hard earned money.

I encounter the same exact problem with the same people in April and the dispute went on until July. They refused to take my calls, my transmission ( Mercedes CLK 430) was not returned, however I did receive a credit from my credit card company (Visa) without further dispute from Coast to Coast Transmission. To receive credit from a credit card company, you should do the following: 1. Write a detailed account of the event including dates, times, and the names of all the people involved that you have spoken with about the scam. 2. Provide all telephone numbers of everyone you have spoken to from Coast to Coast. The owner is Larry Duncan. A representative at another location felt so bad about the scam because he did not realize they were thieves, he gave me Larry's cell number. Larry was so surprised when I called him in the middle of a meeting and agreed to have Rick (Another Thief) call me an offer the same price to fix my car as quoted to me by the original mechanic. I did not accept the offer. These are the numbers I have for the Crooks at Coast to Coast: The following is the list of names, addresses, and telephone numbers affiliated with this organization: Larry Duncan (Owner) Cell Number 1-940-465-4439 Rich (Second in Charge) 1-940-382-4257 Raylene (Manager) 1-940-323-0616 Kristy (Project Coordinator0 1-940-323-8105 Jeff (Customer Service) 1-904-614-4368 Steve Hoffman (Sales Representative) 1-800-601-0859 Office Fax Number 1-940-323-9423 Other Number 1-940-243-8686 Coast to Coast Transmission/24 Hour Transmission/24 Hour Auto Repair Address: 3233 or 3318 East University Drive Denton, Texas 76208 3. Contact the Attorney General of Texas and file a complaint against the business and owner. The Attorney General sent me all the complaints filed against this company free of charge!!!! Send this information to the Credit Card Company. ***Make sure you give the Attorney General all possible business names to receive a complete list of complaints. This usually takes two weeks. 4. Send the Credit Card Company a copy of all paperwork received including copies of receipts, contracts, information provided by the initial mechanic that diagnosed the problem and the cost to fix it, Attorney General Complaints and of course copies of RIP-OFF REPORTS from this site. Visa refunded my money in 30 days!!! Unfortunately, Coast to Coast kept my transmission but I was able to buy a used transmission with less miles than my original one for $1800 and the mechanic felt so bad about the situation that he only charge me $300 for everything. I work in the industry and you will be happy to know I have heard from several sources that Coast to Coast, aka, 24hour Transmissions, was raided and SHUT DOWN by the Sheriff's Department, FBI, DEA, and EPA. Not sure why the DEA, one can only assume! I know it was aggravating for us other Transmission shop owners that do an honest business to have these people give us all a bad name. But I know it was even more aggravating for your customers that were ripped off by these guys. FINALLY!

Not sure why the DEA, one can only assume! I know it was aggravating for us other Transmission shop owners that do an honest business to have these people give us all a bad name. But I know it was even more aggravating for your customers that were ripped off by these guys. FINALLY!
