I hired this company months ago to re-key locks in several doors at my business.
I had nice locks installed but was convinced by the locksmith to put new commercial locks on. After agreeing on a price, he leaves to pick up what he needed to perform the task. He returned with cheap and flimsy Kwikset locks from home depot and proceeds to install the locks backwards, with different sized screws that were protruding from the side of the door. The locksmith leaves in the middle of the job for a few hours only to return demanding that he be written a personal check as opposed to writing a check to the business name which we initially called to contract the service (24 locksmithing). The locksmith Ben Shalom became irritable and insisted I write the check out to him. Eventually he says to write a check to "LOCKSMITH R US", which I did to get him out of the door because he was making me fear for my safety. Did I mention the car he arrived in had vomit streaming down the drivers door?
The next day, two of the three locks that were installed were not functional due to the screws that were improperly installed. The same locksmith came out to repair them and did another horrendous job, only managing to get the doors functional before disappearing. A week later the same two doors would not open.
I have been calling and requesting this company to come out and fix the same two doors which have not worked in months but they overpromise and don't deliver at all. We have had their locksmiths scheduled to come out at least 10 different times only to not show, not call, and when we follow up only promise the same thing.
We are now initiating a small claims case. Do not use this company unless you want major headaches.
