I am Jason Brock, and I am the Operations Manager for the 24/7 Support Call Center. We are an outsourcing company that provides support to many different companies representing thousands of different merchants. We have recently lost 2 of our biggest outsourcing contracts, and have been forced to temporarily down size. We are currently searching for new outsourcing clients to build the center back up. Please allow me to go through each one of these false accusations one by one, to prevent my companies name from being further discredited.
1. Lifestyledealsnow and Athomeworksite are companies that we provide support for, and they provide a service to these customers. Our support center is in fact located in Costa Rica, however these companies are located in Miami, FL which is why we say that is where we are.
2. The script that is provided to the agents is informative, and is grammatically correct.
3. The allegation that we instruct our agents not to refund a dime is the opposite of the truth. We train our agents to explain the charge and the product to the customer. If the customer either does not recognize the charge, does not agree with it, or is not happy with the product our agents are instructed to refund and cancel any further recurring billings.
4. We pay well over the Costa Rican minimum wage, and everything is properly reported to the government.
5. Our Supervisors are well trained in customer service, and are very good at their jobs. A Supervisor would never brush off an agent, or tell a customer to call back.
6. The only cash that is handed out in this office is gift certificates for superior performance
7. As I stated in the opening we unfortunately lost 2 large outsourcing contracts, and we were forced to lay off a large number of our staff. The out sourcing call center business is never completely steady as far as the volume goes. It has it's ups and downs, and therefor we must manage the staff accordingly. This person is simply a disgruntled employee that we had to lay off, and he or she is trying to damage mine and my companies name. We would never fire anyone for the reasons that this person is stating. We evaluated our entire staff, and kept the strongest employees, and unfortunately had to get rid of the rest. All employees that were laid off were told that when business picks up if they still need work we would be more than happy to bring them back. We also completely paid those who were laid off in full as per the Costa Rican Labor Law.
