I signed up for the 7 day free trial at 3hourdiet.com on the 22 Sept 2010, and received an email from them stating "Your account will be billed on 09/29/2010 at midnight, Pacific Standard Time unless you cancel before that time, and will be automatically renewed and billed at the end of each successive quarter".

They, however, billed my credit card at around 11:40 pm PST on 28 Sept - more than 24 hours before payment was due and before I had had the opportunity to cancel.

I sent them the following email on the 29 Sept:

"Hi there,

Thanks for the week's trial but I have decided to go with the Belly Fat Cure instead.
It has, however, just come to my attention that you have billed me for the next quarter. According to this email (below) that I received from you, this billing was not to have been processed until "09/29/2010 at midnight, Pacific Standard Time unless you cancel before that time".

As I wish to cancel before this time, please refund the money you have deducted back to my credit card.

Therefore, please take this email as confirmation of my cancellation of 3 hour diet
and refund the money charged to my card.

Please confirm this by return of email."

They have not responded to this email nor have they responded to any of the 5 follow-up emails I have sent.

The phone number that they have on the site simply directs one to send an email to the same address I have been using.

The other phone number on the "help" screen gives an error message.

They have therefore charged me $65 for a service I do not want and to which I do not have access if I did want to use it (the service is for a 3 month period).

Their autoresponder service works fine - I got the signup and cancellation emails - but there is no human support whatsoever.

I wish to be refunded the money erroneously charged to my credit card.

I wish to report that the money has now been refunded - I received a system generated email from the company to the effect that it would happen and the funds are in my credit card this morning. I am grateful that this has happened but am still confused as to the lack of any "human" interaction at all.
