500 Fast Cash Sent no contract with agreed terms and continuously debited my account for over 250% of debt Internet
Early last August of 2008 I found an internet site which promised $300 to be electronically added to my account. I read the terms and printed out the copy. I checked a box stating that I would pay the sum back in full in thirty days. I had sent a copy of a check and banking authorization back by fax to this company. I did not hear from them again. On there behalf a did receive the $300 dollars (mysteriously) into my account as it was not immediately following the fax I had basically thought I was declined and so much the better as I was over my financial crisis.
The real story begins when I start seeing $90 debits regularly every month from 500fastcash. Well in fairness I did receive the money but why they did not take out the entire amount borrowed at the terms we agreed upon I was confused. I thought maybe they never received the fax...but how did they get my banking info if they did not get fax? I checked box pay in full in 30 days.
I am still not worried I figure O.K. if I end up paying $100 dollars for a $300 loan than shame on me, right? But it never stops...month after month $ 90, one month two entries of $90 and $50 and still my account is debited every month. The credit union has no contact information or address/telephone, I couldn't remember the exact site so no way to contact...I told credit union this business is no longer allowed access to debit my account last month. This morning 1/2/09 at approximately 8:00 am a man named Jerry called from 500 Fast Cash with no caller ID number I asked for a number and an address he refused saying they were only on internet...then how the hell you calling me Jerry! I told him oh you must have tried to debit my account, huh? Well it has been frozen to you and your company. He responded by saying, "If you are not going to pay another $490 dollars, what you owe us than I will just keep debiting your account and you will get bank fees or NSF charges until this is paid." Be mindful they have been debiting my account for $90 since August 08 plus a miscellaneous debit of $50 so that adds up to $500 paid for a $300 loan.
