Ordered a Canon G9 camera from them, great price, could not pass it up! Got an e-mail to contact their Verification department at 1-800-815-2040 Ext 203 Steve so they could verify and complete processing my order.

This is when it started. I was congratulated on picking such a fine piece of equiptment. Then I was told that the camera did not come with a battery! I was at work, and thought that not to be true, but even with the additional $70, the price was still waybelow what anyone else had the same camera for, so I said ok. Then I was told the camera would only work with a ultra high speed SD card...so I stopped Steve, and said I would call him back. I then called Canon, asked if this camera should always come with a battery, and of course was told yes. I asked then if I had to use an ultra high speed SD card and was told no, any would work, but at least a high speed SD card with fairly high memory was best. By the time I had finished my call to Canon, I recieved a e-mail telling me the camera I had ordered and would be to me in two days was now on back order, and would be 3-4 weeks. I cancelled my order.

Next time check the seller before you order, or simply cancel when you get that "call us" email

Photo.net has a dealer's rating list. These scam outfits are active for awhile and generate nothing but complaints, and then they become inactive while "new" ones start up. I would not be surprised that there are only 3 or 4 outfits playing this game and they simply change their names every month. The drill is always the same: The unbelievablly low price that gets you to order, and then their follow-up email asking you to call them to confirm your order.
