900 DIRECT FRAUDULENT BILLING. Rip-off! CANOGA PARK California
I received a bill from 900 Direct on 8/2/04, for a phone call supposedly made on 7/24/04 from my home phone. My son was spending the night with a friend, and I was the only one home at this time, and no such phone call took place. When I called them to dispute the bill, they told me they would investigate, but there would be more billings coming, because phone calls had been made every day from my home since that time.
The times they said these calls were being made varied...some when someone was home and some when the house was empty. I tried to tell them it was impossible, and was very strongly told that I didn't have very good control of my own home and if I didn't pay the bills would go into collections. These people were rude, and are obviously a scam.
