We also purchased an Ipod from this company for a Christmas present. We did receive one, a counterfit one. When we tried to contact them we got no reply to emails and the phone number is "temp. disconnected". We too paid through Paypal, they sent us the following

" Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a refund. "

We then returned to the website, they now have an apology posted the following:

"One week into working with PayPal they put a freeze on our account which we got lifted. While the account was on freeze we took money out of our own pockets to get customers the product. Once they paid us and we got caught up, again PayPal put a hold on the account for 3 days. While the hold was on they still accepted people's money but would not give it to us. This caused us to fall 8 days behind with getting the products fulfilled due to cash flow issues. We started to catch up again but last week they did it again and now our company is in debt because we tried sending out orders out of our own pocket and they are refusing to pay us.

Once again we do not have your money. Paypal.com has your money. If you do not have a tracking number YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING A PRODUCT. Please contact PayPal to refund your money as they have the authority to do this and if they refuse please go to your credit card company for the money.

WE WANT EVERYONE TO GET AN IPOD FOR THE HOLIDAYS AS YOU PLANNED ON WHEN YOU FOUND US. YOU WILL GET BACK YOUR MONEY NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE TELLS YOU. Like we said contact PayPal first and if they do not want to help you call the number on the back of your credit cards and DEMAND A REFUND (Please use this email as proof or our website). Please go to a retail outlet near you and purchase them right away so you can have them for the holidays.

We are really sorry and some of you might still doubt/not believe us but this is all we can do. We are trying to send out an email to everyone and also posting this to our site. Please get in touch with any friends who have purchased from us or anyone else you might know. Please do not send any email/phone as we can not do anything at this point. We are providing you with all of the information we have. If anything changes we will be glad to post it here.

They have our money not paypal, they sold us a counterfit Apple Ipod nano. I see no explanation for this "error".

To top it off , in readiing my credit card user agreement, if I did not purchase the item in my home state or within 100 miles of my home , we are not protected against fraud...

We are still going to contact our credit card company, but I have little hope of any help.

We will be contacting Contact Apple, and the FBI fraud unit.
