A-1 American is ridiculously expensive and they trap you with a $78 service call fee before you realize it.
I don't mind the service call fee if their prices were competitive, which they are not.
I called them to fix tub leak - simple repair involving replacing washers.
I was quoted their book rate of $450 - I was astonished and declined the service.
Called a competitor who did a great job for about 30% of the A-1 quote.
