A Advanced Chimney Service A Advanced Chimney Service, LLC Denise Reeves Repair scam - Service never delivered and promissed warranty is a ripoff Winder GA
We received A Advanced Chimney Services on January 26 for a free estimate.
Promisse to come down the price from $2500 to $1200 if payment in full in advance.
I agree to pay in advance the amount of $1,200 but I was charged $1,248.
Advanced Chimney Services commited to provided me with the following:
Two service visits, the first one to apply a temporary seal that would prevent the water from coming in.
The second visit to fix the Chimney, including the removal of stones and the exposure of the frame for
replacement of part of the wood, the filling up the cracks between the rest of the stones, the top Crown
base remake, and the installation of a counter flashing.
A Advance Chimney Service only come the next day and stayed for around 30 minutes apply the temporary seal but never returned for the second visit as verbally agreed. Instead Denise Reeves, the owner called me on Feb 04 asking me for extra money in the amount of $2,500 in order to fix the Chimney.
Denise Reeves failed on emailing the estimate and the 7-14 years warranty papers upon advanced payment of $1,200 as promised over the phone.
Denise Reeves said that the $1,246 charged on my Bank Account was only for the temporary seal.
Post-Job Quality Inspection done on 2/11/2023 shows that only a temporary seal was applied on Crown and around the Chimney, clearly not worth of $1,248.
Inspection show that the temporary patch may hold for a couple of months, which compromises the 7 and 14 years warranty promised.
