The serial number that you provided for your vehicle fits several year model Ford vehicles with a 5.4 engine. A CERTIFIED mechanic knows that some parts such as exhaust manifolds, etc. have to be changed out to be compatible. That is why we requested your vin number from the start in order to get the correct engine. You took possesion of the engine on 5-20-2011 and never stated that it was the wrong engine. You were informed at the time of purchase that you had 15 days from the date of the invoice to return your core motor or your warranty would be void. Which was never returned. Our company policy states under engine warranty " that all engine and transmissions are to be installed by a certified technician". We strongly stand by this policy so that any parts that do need to be removed and placed on the engine will be installed by someone who is knowledgeable about engine replacements and the varying degress of swapping manifolds or exhaust parts so that engines and transmissions are compatible. We also offered to pick your vehicle up and install the engine for you, but that you would be responsible for the labor involved because labor is not covered under the warranty. You declined our offer. We feel that we have met our contractual obligations and have closed our file. Mr. Sierra is not the owner of this company.
