My mobile mechanic I found an ad on Craigslist for paint and body work we needed the hood of our big truck painted and was in Houston stuck for the weekend so I text him and asked what he would charge and sent a picture if it he told me 400.00 since it was already prime red and ready to go, I said we only have Saturday because Sunday we had to head toward Texarkana to load Monday morning he said if I got it there early at 8 Saturday that would be no problem he would have his guys waiting in us to get it done. We got there and they didn't start in it until noon and then he said it wouldn't be ready until mid day Sunday we said ok, went and got a hotel , he called us Sunday morning and said its ready but the next time we come into town he'd like to throw another coat in it then buff it , I said ok. We got there and it looked like they used spray cans to do it runs all over and places where they wiped the runs with a rag was dull , there is overspray all over the truck including the windshields we just put in , and the chrome we just had buffed out for 200.00, it looks like my 2 yr old grandson did it, he sent a young kid over to release it so we called him and told him this isn't acceptable and he told me F off or leave it there and they would work on it more Monday I said we can't wait we have a military load we have to pick up , he said then pay the guy now the bill also went up to 700.00, we called the police out they all looked at the truck and couldn't believe what they had done but said its a civil matter and unfortunately they couldn't do anything but told me to make sure I take them to court
