My carafe broke while I was brewing a pot of coffee. I found AAbree Coffee when I searched for my particular model number. I needed the carafe ASAP and paid for the extra shipping. They sent me the wrong carafe and when I called the Customer Service number they told me they would send me a RMA # that HAD to be sent within 7 days or they would not take there product back for a credit. I sent it FedEx to make sure that was taken care of. My total expense for this was 22.34 for the Carafe and 32.00 in the first shipping and 10.32 for me to ship it back. I only was credited the 22.34 for the product. I called again to ask if there was another credit due that would be for the shipping and they told me NO. "We only will credit the product amount and NOT the shipping." I am very disappointed with this company and there bad attitude when it was there mistake and not mine.

On another note : I called Cuisinart direct and they sent me a new correct carafe for free under my warranty.. Lesson learned to call the manufactur first..

This company is fact sent me the WRONG ONE! I was not "it looks diferent in person"! I gave the Customer Service Rep the model number form my coffee maker. I wish they would just accept the fact that they made an error and refunded/corrected the mistake instead of making me look like I didnt know what I was ordering.

Shipping fees are normally NOT refunded

Shipping fees are normally NOT refunded when returning something purchased by mail-order. Why? Think of all the people who accidentally order the wrong thing, change their mind, decide that "it looks different in person," etc etc etc ... and send the merchandise back. Why should the company suffer the loss of the sale PLUS the shipping that they paid for? It doesn't make sense. I don't know of a single retailer that refunds shipping costs for ANY reason. Next time, rather than cry over spilled milk, keep the item and sell it on eBay or at a yardsale.
