After buying a 50$ super saver card I decided to use the free oil change coupon it came with. They had me make an appointment and I reluctantly waited 3 days to get my oil changed instead of doing it myself. 



Thursday morning they changed my oil and oil filter and had me on my way. That night my oil filter blew off and shot all my oil out onto the ground. I got out and looked under the truck and to my surprise the oil filter was rattling around not even screwed on all the way. the next morning i called RICK FERNANDEZ the same guy from the day before and told him my problem. He refused to help me unless I got the truck to the shop myself even though it wasnt running because of them. He assured me they dont ever tow anything and it says so on my receipt WHICH IT DOES NOT SAY AND HE COULD NOT SHOW ME WHERE IT SAYS THAT. I ALSO HAVE A COUPON FOR THEM THAT IS FREE PICK UP AND DELIVERY!!!



So I got a ride to there shop from my dad with the oil filter they installed in a zip lock bag. After some investigation we found they installed the wrong oil filter and apparantly thought it was funny because they were laughing. Rick Fernandez is extremely rude, unhelpful, unapologetic and should not be allowed near anybodys car whatsoever. Neither should his mechanics (one mechanic is kris ditoro the other is unknown).



 After 30 minutes of arguing and refusing to help me even though they installed the wrong filter Rick had one of his mechanics follow me home with the right oil filter and some oil.



He put in the correct filter and started pouring the new oil in my motor with no funnel so that it poured all over my motor and started smoking. he said he would clean the oil off my truck if i brought it back to the shop but as soon as he had my oil cap back on he ran and jumped in his truck and tried to leave. MY DAD GOT IN THE STREET WHILE THE MECHANIC WAS TURNING AROUND IN THE COLDESAC AND SAID "WHERE ARE YOU GOING YOU DIDNT EVEN SEE IF ITS RUNNING YET" THE MECHANIC CONTINUED TOWARDS MY DAD AND HIT HIM AT ABOUT 5 MILES AN HOUR BEFORE STOPPING. I HAVE THE WHOLE THING ON VIDEO!!! after that i returned to the shop and told RICK FERNANDEZ what happened and he still didnt even apologise after viewing the video I took. I told them to clean my motor and they refused to do it.



 NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE PEOPLE.



I HAVE PICTURES AND VIDEO EVIDENCE OF THE WRONG FILTER IN MY TRUCK, THE BOOK THAT SHOWS WHICH FILTER SHOULD BE IN MY TRUCK, AND VIDEO OF THEM HITTING MY DAD WITH HIS TRUCK!!!



Later I  called back to get Ricks boss's or the owners number but rick refused to help me.

Although Rick did a great job with many customers he obviously had some issues with a few customers. After seeing some of the concerns brought up here and addressing some of these issues we have decided to replace the manager at this location. Mitchell Ryan is the new manager and has been with AAMCO in the East Valley for over 7 years and has always received the best ratings in customer service and quality of work. We hope this change will be beneficial and hope to see some better reviews on the quality of service received at this location.
