AAMCO ruined my emissions solenoid and backed up my gas line Chandler Arizona
Ok so I went to AAMCO to get my transmission fluid changed because I was told it needed it and I had a coupon for one for 20.00. remember that phrase too good to be true? well it is so true. when i got my truck back I looked at the fluid and it was still brown. the mechanic said that it was only a fluid change not a power flush so it did not remove all the fluid just the excess that was in the pan not the entire transmision. but they did change the filter and garanteed that it was good for another 20,000 miles. the next day i was driving my truck on the freeway i saw the check engine light on and had it checked out right away. I found out that it was one of the two solenoids for emissions and it needed to be replaced. alright so my truck still works it just needs something minor changed. then the next time i filled up my truck the pump kept shutting off.apparently the gas line is damaged and backs up if the gas flows into it too quickly. and now i have a $200+ repair for my truck for someone who ripped me off on a $20 fluid exchange.
