Academy Of Desiging . Common Russian stolen credit card processing scam Probably Moscow
I responded to the ad at careerbuilder.com. Many things looked suspicious. I should include that I got involved in another scam, unknowingly, that processed stolen credit card info. They claimed to be a software company from China...I was to start an LLC and open a merchant account to process credit cards for purchasing the software online. The story and communication was very good, yet I was suspicious. Before it got too far the merchant account provider pulled the plug on it and I closed the LLC to avoid and collections or legal issues personally.
This company's domain can be traced to the Russian Federation just like the other I was dealing with: redstonesoft.com (Redstone Software) This is highly suspicious, a long with lots of other evidence like the wire transfer bank was in Cyprus, and they wanted be to transfer relatively small amounts of money often.
Bottom line: this is the same scheme. Very creative, thorough and at a time like this you want to believe it....as cliche as it sounds...if it's too good to be true....
