ACADEMY ROOFING COMPANY BROKE THEIR WORD FOR REFUND ATLANTA Georgia
ACADEMY ROOFING COMPANY INSTALLED MY NEW ROOF 2 MONTHS AGO. THEY WERE WARNED NOT TO DAMAGE MY PATIO COVER. THEY DID DAMAGE IT. THEY PROMISED TO REPLACE IT. WHEN THEY FOUND OUT IT WAS $300.00 TO REPLACE, THEY OFFERED ME $150.00 IN CASH. I ACCEPTED THEIR COUNTER OFFER AS MY COVER WAS ALREADY 2 YEARS OLD. ACADEMY ROOFING PROMISED ME THE REFUND AND HAS NOT SENT ANYTHING NOR RETURNED MY CALLS. USE ANOTHER ROOFER!!

My Experience With Academy Was Different

Sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory experience with Academy Roofing.
They did my roof recently and damaged a screen and my vinyl siding. However, when I pointed these damages out, the on site supervisor promised to repair them the same day. Just to be sure, I also telephoned Academy's office and informed them of the damages.
Mind you, I never pay up front, until the job is done to my complete satisfaction!
Within three hours of my telephone call, an Academy supervisor arrived at my home and assured me the damages would be repaired the same day.
True to their word, the damages were repaired the same day the roof was installed.
Academy advised me this is the reason they often photograph a home, before the roof is installed, to document any prior damage. I told them the same thing, that I did a complete set of photos, showing their crew in the photos, just before work started. OK, so we both took precautions, which is necessary in today's litiguous world.
Bottom line is that I am completely satisfied with Academy Roofing.
