Supreme Acai Berry - acai Berry is acai berry a scam? charged my account twice. and no one seems to help me. only wanted the free bottle. hard to get a hold of anyone. was stuck with the payment of 88.62 plus shipping. then they charged my account a second time of 94.57 within two weeks from the first payment. Internet
I tried the free trial of acai berry from website. was website theacaiberryreview.com. then i clicked on acai berry supreme website.
they charged my account for the shipping and handling of 5.95 on 12/01/08. i wanted to cancel after that so i wouldnt be charged. everytime i would call the number provided it would either disconnect or have a busy signal. then when i finally got a hold of somone he said that they were having technical difficulties and to call back.
i even wrote them a couple emails. no response. so after trying so many times it was already to late to cancel, so they charged my account for 88.62 on 12/17 for the bottle.
then i noticed that they charged my account for 94.57 on 12/29. so once again i tried to get a hold of them but the same thing, cant get a hold of anyone. so i emailed them letting them know what happend.
they finally responded and sent me a cancellation email. and i noticed that the charge of 94.57 was gone.
but now that amount is back on my account again for some reason, eventhough it was cancelled after they charged me for the first bottle. so i called them and finally got a hold of someone. and the customer service person kept saying he couldnt find my email in the system. i told him i need that money refunded. then he said im sorry, we are having technical difficulties right now and to call back.
i tried the online chat support. and that was still no help. she said she will send a refund request to their accounting dept and will contact me within 24/48 hours. havent gotten a response yet, but there is still time for them to respond. so i am waiting until then....
i will never try any free trial on the interent again. i thought it would be ok since it said as seen on oprah, cnn news, etc.
