Accurate Construction Estimating Extorted Money for no services rendered Redwood City California
Bob Foster and his partner Tom from Accurate Construction Estimating told my company that they had the necessary experience and contacts to advertise and locate business for my construction company in the next 30 days. There payment as per our agreement was to be a percentage for work contracted for. Instead they deceptively changed our agreement to pay themselves an hourly rate to the tune of 5K. When I refused to pay because no work was actually done and no contracts were assigned to my company they threatened to sue and smear my companies name. My attorney was aware of this scam as I guess it is very common. Both Tom Dior and Bob Foster are pros at white caller crime they completed our transaction is such a way that it would be easy to extort money later. I felt it benifical to pay the 5k to protect my bond and my company name rather than expose Bob and Tom for the con artists that they are in court. The hourly agreement I agreed to pay was for work I requested from them on projects which I had brought to the table, instead they used the hourly rate clause to run up the tap without actually doing anything. The take off construction estimates which they provided would have taken my company less than 8 hours to complete where as they charged me for more than 50 hours for the same amount of work. There company is a joke and they profit from stealing money out of contractors who are not savvy in marketing themselves.
