DO NOT Fall victim to this scam. I am financially strapped and have suffered poor credit because of my financial situation. I began searching the internet for personal loans and found it hard to get approved. I came across the website aceamericaloans.com and filled out an application for a personal loan. I receieved confirmation from Ray Scott that my application had been receeived and would be processed shortly. Within one day I received notification that I was approved for a loan of $6500.00 with the condition that the lender required an guarantor fee of $260.00.I had to sign an "affadavit of fact" form and fax it back to him. In hindsight I figure this is to confirm you are who you say you are and aren't scamming him. Needless to say I followed the directions and faxed it back. Within about a day or two I received my loan documents via email and was asked to follow the directions specifically. I needed to print the documents ( which are identical to legal documents) have them notorized and overnight (via USPS I used the post office and a postal money order) them to their "documents collection center" in Las Vegas. Along with that had to go a copy of my drivers licence. I had to fax them the exact things I was mailing and add to it the tracking number.Probably so they could track the document as to when it would arrive. After I received an email from the post office that the package had been delivered I sent Ray Scott an email with that information and here was his response....

It will take one more day to reach the home office. They will get it tomorrow which will be Wed. and logged in. If we're luck it will be processed and sent back via UPS on Friday which means you should receive it on Tuesday of next week. That's the best I can do as far as predicting when you should receive the check (draft).

Just a quick note to tell you I received conformation on delivery today of the required documents and money order. I am wondering when I should expect delivery of the check via UPS. Sincerely, David Mosier

Status: Delivered

Your item was delivered at 11:34 am on August 27, 2005 in LAS VEGAS, NV 89134. The item was signed for by L WOOD.

Please see attached document from USPS.

That was the last email I received from Ray Scott. To this day I have sent him 680 emails to the rscott@aceamericaloans address as well as the dscott@aceamericaloans address. I have called their phone number and it is a recording "thank you for calling ace america loans please leave a message". I have made a report with the BBB in both NY and NV. I have spoken to the FBI and made a report. I have been in touch with the LVPD and made a report with the Las Vegas Attorney General and the NY State Attorney general. I have contacted all the news channels in Las Vegas as well. I have made a report with the FTC and the United States postal investigator. Luckily I am not one for following directions and sent the documents US mail and sent a postal money order which makes this mail fraud and a federal crime. I have located the address in Vegas they use and it is actually a UPS Store. This evening I spoke with L. Wood of the UPS Store the individual that signed for the documents and someone picks thier packages up everyday still. Which means they are still getting to people.... DO NOT send him any money.

He prays on those of us who need financial help. I did not pay my bills so I could pay the fee which makes me very angry. I will stop at nothing to slander this man or women which ever it is. Identity theft is a real issue with this because they get all of your personal information drivers licence, SSN, bank routing and account numbers and so on... but fortunately my credit is so back they couldn't get 25 cents in my name. If they try to obtain anything in my name Ill know because I issued a fraud alert on my credit report requiring them to contact me via mail for identificaiton purposes.

just to let you know that i am in the same boat with ace. i spoke to someone at that ups store and they said they are aware of what's going on and are alledgedly doing something about it. the documnets that come to the store for GFS are sent to a forwarding address - one that they can't supply without a warrant. so i have taken all this information and sent it off to the clark county D.A. office giving them everything I know. I also sent this to KLAS TV in Las Vegas and received an email from their investigate journalist team. They are looking into it. I also sent emails to CNN and MSNBC asking them to do stories on this. P.S. I noticed that the web site was not functioning but the phone number still gives the message.
