Acrylic Spas of Arizona Spa Man Spas Warranty Issues, Bad Customer Service, I will NEVER buy from them again Chandler, Arizona
If you are thinking of purchasing a spa from spa man spas, I suggest you RUN the other direction. The problem is not the sales process, they are very good at selling spas and treating potenital customers very well.
The problem is once they have your money, the customer service will stop all together. They sold us a $5500 spa with a warranty and when it started to fall a part, it took us 7 weeks of leaving messages to even get a call back from someone to even file our warranty claim. It has now been over 4 months and we do not have one single replacement part. When I recently contacted the store manager Larry Godek and told him my issues still had not been fixed he said "I don't know what you want me to do" and when I asked him what would happen if my parts never showed up, he said "well I guess you wont be any worse off than you already are."
I filed a complaint with the BBB and Spa Man Spas is now saying its not thier fault, it is the manufacturer's warranty. News flash, I bought the spa from them, they are the ones facilitating the warranty work, so I hold them responsible.
I noticed on Rip Off Report they have responded to other complaints and said they stand behind their products - that is a LIE. They will tell you, once you have a problem, that it is not their problem, they are just a retailer.
Also, they say they have nothing to do with AZ Spa Repair - the company that does the warranty work. I find that very hard to believe. Virginia, the lady who works for AZ Spa Repair, sounds an awful lot like the lady on the corporate store's voicemail. No proof on that, I just have a feeling they blame everything on a shell company that is not even searchable online.
If you are in the market for a cheap spa, that falls apart, and no one will be there to help you when it breaks - then this company is right for you.
If you are like most people and like a company that stands by their product, treats their customers fair, and sells good products - I would go somewhere else.
