Like other posters here I have direct experience as an Action franchisee and after about 3 years with the company can say that well over 50% of the people I trained with had left the franchise by the time I also decided it was time to quit.

Some people do succeed with Action but my impression was that most don't. Having being badly burned by the experience - on top of a big upfront investmest and your own business costs, you pay $1500/month to the franchise whether you are earning anything or not, I have spent a bit of time researching and some of what I see does not look good at all.

I check their website from time to time and it is just amazing to see the number of people who leave. Just over the last couple of months I saw the following franchisees disappear off the radar:

Teresa Elkholy Arizona

Knut Schroeder California

Dominick F Mills, Esq. California

Mike Morin Connecticut

Jason Romrell Idaho

David Benigni Indiana

Steve Mieritz Indiana

Andre Bourgeacq Kansas

Todd Tambling N.Carolina

Doug Stevenson N.Carolina

Kathleen Nitti New Jersay

David Carter Pennsylvania

Tony Daniele Pennsylvania

Jim Waters Pennsylvania

Marc Peters S.Texas

Fred May S.Texas

Lori LeBlanc S.Texas

Patsy Foxwood S.Texas

Kyle Mott Utat

Patrice Lynn Washington

all of this from a total of about 300. Now that's serious churn in just a couple of few months.

I guess the real problem is that the franchise supplies no serious information to prospects on actual earnings by coach upfront , just stuff about how much you can potentially make and as a few people do succeed I guess that's enough to convince some of us that this is a valid business. I learned a bit late in the day that most people earn very little and I guess that's why so many leave well before the end of their contract.

Anyone looking at this franchise should ask a lot of questions up front and be aware that it takes both a lot of talent and a lot of work to make it. On that score I pretty well agree with the poster above who says that the people who succeed with Action could probably do well anywhere.
