Adams Moving Service moved our household goods in May 2005. The whole move was a hassle. They repacked everything and used even more boxes. At the end of the move, Adams wanted all the garment bags back. They didn't show up until midnight and then proceeded to start complaining about being ticketed for improper loading, etc.

The driver started an argument with my wife and was told to either shut up or leave. They would not unload until paid in full. Upon unloading they broke a priceless crystal lamp (thay took lamp with them), damaged a $5000.00 wheelchair, shattered a brand new desk ($700.00), damaged a one of a kind picture and there are several things we have not yet found. When they were called on the phone, adams wife cursed out my wife and refused to provide insurance information. They are a complete rifoff !! Do not be fooled my Adams demeanor !! He is nothing short of a crook !!

Adam's Moving and my experience...

I read what Mark from Kentucky wrote about Adam's moving. I used Adam's moving company when I moved 5 years ago. My wife and I were very pleased. They were very efficient and not a thing was damaged. (The bill was very reasonable too) Not only did we use Adam's moving but I am a local Realtor. I have referred Adam's moving to my clients. Many clients and never heard a single complaint!!!!!!!!! It is a shame this Mark from Kentucky had a bad experience with moving and needs someone to blame. It's obvious. Nothing but positive feedback besides for this guy. For him to try tarnishing their proud reputation is a shame. If the fact his story changed from the first report to the second is not enough to convince you then I have a long list of references you can contact to hear how good Adam's moving really is and this Mark guy needs medication or the stick removed from his you know what.

While searching for a moving company in April of 2004 I was fortunate to come accross Adams Moving Service of Logan Township, NJ. I enjoyed the personal service that I got from working with a local "non-corporate" type moving company. My experience began with discussing our move with Suzanne Adams who was pleasant to speak with and able to answer my questions clearly and accurately. Prior to our move I spoke with Bobby Adams who discussed the logistics and timing of the move. He made me feel very comfortable with what for me was a large undertaking. The day of the move I was rather anxious to say the least. Bobby, with his calm confident demeanor, put me at ease. The move went off without a hitch. The timing worked out just as planned and they took extremely good care of my belongings over night. I was charged exactly what was quoted to me and could not be more happy about the service I received. The service was so good I referred Adams Moving to 4 friends all of whom had similar experiences to mine. They have also referred the Adam's to many others. They are a top notch service. 5 years later I was in need of some internal moving of furniture. I called Bobby who remembered me right away and thanked me for the business I referred. He was exactly the reliable person I had met 5 years before. Today Bobby came to my house with his crew and helped me with my small job. Again, the job went off without a hitch. The Adam's are quality people and it just doesn't make sense the story written above. In my opinion there is no chance what was said is close to true. We could only wish more people were as reasonable and dependable as the Adams Moving Service. Please feel free to email me with and questions or references at "mes26 at comcast dot net." You can not go wrong using Adams Moving!! Thank your for such excellent service, Mark Swartz Voorhees, New Jersey

All I can say is my experience with Adams, Bobby, his employees, his company - well, I have rarely felt better about a customer service experience in my life. I suppose one cant please everyone, and I certaintly wasnt involved in any matters I saw commented on here, but when I happened to stumble accross this in trying to find Bobby's phone number - to again employ what I feel are, in exception to most of much of world in general, and, I suppose, movers in particular - I just felt I had to report my experience with them - from soup to nuts - a major move - was, absolutely fabulous. We found them to be great people, doing great, honorable work. The exception to the rule. So much I felt this needed a rebuttal from a family that could not have been happier with Adams Movers. Keep up the great work!

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

My name is Suzanne Adams Not "Wife". My Husband is Bobby, not "Adam". We are the proud owners of Adams Moving Services LLC in Logan Township, N.J. not Swedesboro. Okay, so now that I've corrected some of your mistakes here let's Truly clarify the junk spewing from you. Noone repacked anything. Household contents was packed for tranport, PERIOD. Wardrobe boxes are "lent" to the client during the move for transport purposes or you could have opted to buy them @ $18.00 each or you could have paid us to packed all of the clothing into regular boxes - we were SAVING you money. Your so called "breakage" was a small chip to the base of a very old, very diry, dusty Kmart type lamp that we knew was pre-existing but still took to our glass shop and had repaired, the proffessional glass guy with 40 plus years experience informed us the repair costs more than the lamp- we still repaired it. As for the rest of your Fictional garbage of a story you sir are a cratfy true Liar. Noone "yelled @ you or refused insurance info you were told that all Movers by Law are bound to pay .60 per lb. of item Example - because you can't seem to do simple Math either, one lamp weighs 14 pound .60X14= $8.40 get it? We were willing to pay your .60 per lb. but went the extra mile of repairing your lamp instead. The rest is bull and I have no more time for this. We have Just now "found" this tidbit on the internet and this is the reason for the rebuttal some 2 odd years later how come you are the ONLY person EVER,to complain. You were looking for a free Move. Con Artists like you hurt the "Mom & Pop" establishments.
