That is ridiculious, I have had the same error code for over a month and a half, I signed up with Brinks also, but I oddly enough receive and pay my bill to ADT which I have the same bizarre error code CH and has been going off at 4:30 a.m. for over a month and with a dozen calls it is still not repaired (I unplugged it long ago, but when plugged in it starts again.)
I deliberately set off the alarm and received no call from ADT about the alarm. It wasn't till I called hours later that they said " is there an alarm going off, we see a signal".
I am going to junk the entire system and put it in a bucket in my garage. I quit ADT a couple of years ago for a similar problem and it was over a month later before they contacted me to let me know I hadn't paid my bill, and they don't have a signal from my system. At that time I switched to Brinks and was satisfied with the new system, surprise....they bought Brinks and brought their insanely poor customer service with them. It has to be one of the worse companies on the planet for customer service.
When I first initiated a service for the CH issue (late September), they told me it could be December before they would be able to send a technician out. Their junk will be in my garage in a bucket by the end of this week.
In my humble opinion, the president of ADT is a totally incompetent, arrogant, self centered, overpaid moron who has no idea what is going on in his own company, (just google customer complaints ADT, genius), and he should have been fired for his incompetence long ago, the BOD must be asleep, or value their quick installation much more important than customer service. If he worked for me he would be standing in line waiting for his obamaphone. There are competent security system companies out there they just don't millions on TV ads.

Ok... I have worked for ADT for many years now, and have been a customer of ADT long before my employment with them... But Im going to break down a few things for you since you just dont seem to get it...
1.) Please do not confuse ADT with Brinks, our purchase of the company was long after you signed up with Brinks, a completely different company (be careful who you slander, its illegal). You did not sign a contract, purchase equipment, etc with ADT- you did that through Brinks.
2.) Your alarm is chiming because you switched phone companies, so you have a control panel issue due to your p hone line being altered... Not because you discontinued monitoring. You do not have to reinstate monitoring to fix this issue, just use google...
3.) You obviously own the equipment since you canceled your services and the equipment is still in your possession, right? Again, it no longer works because you switched phone companies, not anything to do with ADT, OR BRINKS!!!!!
4.) Nobody lied to you about anything, your alarm will not be MONITORED unless you are paying a FEE... Obviously nobody is going to work for free. Why would we repair YOUR equipment when you arent a customer any longer??
