Complaint Review: Adult Friend Finder.com - Boca Raton Florida

 I recently contact customer support for ADULT FRIEND FINDER only to get a response that was less then pleasing. They basically brushed off my complaint and acknowledged they are aware off many security breaches in their site and that a large percentage of the profiles on there are fake. They are created with the sole intention to contact other members for fraudulent reasons. This reason can include and are not limited to asking you to sign up to other affiliated sites to which you are told you will not be charged as long as you use a promo code ( user name they provide ). You are then instructed to put your credit card info in for verification only and all the while being reassured that you will not be billed. You are asked to repeat this process on several other sites and you are told to use the same user name and password on each site and the same credit card and all your personal information. The person I was conned by made the mistake of mentioning that they are employed by these companies to do this. IT IS MY BELIEVE that ADULT FRIEND FINDER and all of these "AFFILIATES" likely owned by the same people, do employee these people as a way of bleeding their customers dry. Not only is the charges to use ADULT FRIEND FINDER absurd, they have links to other sites they own to activate a free account using the same user name and account details. The CATCH you must pay a new membership fee to contact people there also, what you may not be aware of is that the same people on ADULT FRIEND FINDER can be seen on PASSIONS.com and FACE BOOK OF SEX.com and many other "AFFILIATES". WHO THE (((REDACTED FOUL LANGUAGE))) IS KIDDING WHO, it is clear to me the site is corrupt they are RIPPING YOU OFF. They have a good thing going and hopefully with this more people we speak their mind. I am demanding my money back and you should too. Together we can take these bastards down !! Please if you have experienced something similar take THE TIME TO READ THIS AND WRITE YOUR OWN COMPLAINT ! Below is the actual response I received from the AFF SUPPORT STAFF :

Thank you for your query regarding a lack of quality profiles on Abuse. It's unfortunate, but many people out there simply don't have the writing skills to articulate what they think and feel... and yes, there are a number of fakes out there who put up a nice picture and a two-sentence profile.  Sometimes it's tough to tell the two apart, even for us.

On the former, there's not a lot we can do... people are who they are.

As far as the fakes are concerned, we are not in business with them, and Friendfinder Inc. does not promote competing websites.  In fact, we employ an abuse team that deletes hundreds of fake accounts every day. If you suspect a profile is a fake, a spammer or a scammer for any reason, report them immediately by following these steps:

1) Log into your profile.

2) Go to the offenders profile.

3) Scroll to the very bottom of the page.

4) Click on the link titled "Report Abuse or Sexually Explicit Ads"

5) Fill out the form

6) Press Submit.

There are millions of real people on Abuse who genuinely want to make substantive connections.  If possible, you might stick to contacting Premium level members (spammers and scammers rarely pay for accounts), and NEVER give out your email address or personal information until you're very sure the person you're chatting with is the person you want to meet.
