Don't do business with Advance Auto Parts as they intentionally mislead the buyer on online orders (advanceautoparts.com) and posted prices. I just tried to order an Diagnostic code reader CP9550. When I placed the order for it, it showed that the price of the item was normally 89.99 but now was priced at 55.95 (saving 34.00). So I started placing the order and upon the cart checkout, in the item description field it showed a price of normally 89.99 but now 55.95 saving 34.00. Yet in the amount field, it showed a price of the 89.99. Item showed that it was available in my local store for pickup within 1 hour. I called Advance Auto Parts online order number listed on website to see what the reason was for the price difference. When speaking with the agent, I was informed that the price difference was due to my zipcode. WHAT???. This is the most deceptive reason I have ever heard. You mean that prices listed on your website differ based upon zipcode? ABSURD!!!!!! I did not complete my purchase and would advise anyone not to do business with this deceptive company. I know I won't ever give them another cent. After stating my disbelief with the agent and hanging up, I went back to their website (20 minutes after hanging up) and looked at the item again to make sure I had all my facts correct and strangely, the item price on the website had now changed to 89.99.  BUYER BEWARE of such behavior!!!!
