Advanced Asphalt Paving - Jack Cooper Broken Promises-took my $-incomplete job TIOGA, Louisiana
On January 2, 2011, I signed a contract with Mr. Jack Cooper to pour me a driveway consisting of 4,692 sf of concrete. The contract included forming, joints, buildup, and apron. Verbally he said it would be leveled and he would make it look nice because he wants people to drive by and see his business sign at the edge of my driveway. Total job cost $14000.
To make a long story short:
The measurements were incorrect which I had them correct.
Some edges of the driveway are crooked (looks unprofessional).
Some framing boards have NOT been removed.
Runoff concrete has not been removed.
No dirt buildup has been done.
Two piles of wood are still in my front yard.
The apron at the beginning of my driveway is too high when you exit the driveway the front of my van hits the road.
This really ticks me off. Now I have to remove the boards from the frame, remove the piles of wood in the front yard, and remove the hardened runoff concrete from a driveway that is 251 ft long.
Oh, last but not least, his voice mail is not accepting any messages.
