Advanced Medical Institute Closed office suddenly and will not pay back money for services not rendered. Schaumburg Illinois
Advanced Medical Institute provides laser hair therapy and hair transplantation services. They are a franchise that is independently owned and operated. The Schaumburg, Illinois office decided to close their doors and sent a brief letter stating such. They owe me money for pre-paid surgery that was scheduled after they decided to close their doors. I am now going after them through the Illinois Attorney General's office.
I suspect the franchise is doing poorly and will close as well. Other offices are in Minnesota and Massachusetts. Do not pre-pay for any services with this company. Pay only at the time services are rendered or do business with a more reputable company.

Hello, I was a AMI customer/patient and received this abrupt letter, with no contact information, about the closing of the Schaumburg office. I was given no indication about the closing they even scheduled me for my next appointment as if they were going to stay open. I received the buy one get one free procedure deal. I did not finish my first procedure and I had not even started my second one. I have no idea what to do or how to go about dealing with this situation. The offices of Advanced Medical Institute have agreed to resolve the pending issue and conduct the hair transplant services as originally committed. They have gone out of their way to resolve the issue with me. Unfortunately, this website does not allow me to retract the original report or I would have deleted completely.
